The twin destinations - Holy Mount Kailash and the calm waters of The Lake Manasarovar, considered the most sacred and revered pilgrimage for Hindus, Jains and Buddhists - in the southwestern part of Tibet.According to legend, you have to be called by the divine to perform The Kailash - Manasarovar Parikarma. The first Heli Yatra was experimented in The Year 2000 for The Sahara family from Indore.

Holy Kailash � Mansarovar Heli Yatra

Day 01     Arrive Kathmandu (1300m)
Day 02     Kathmandu sightseeing. Afternoon fly to Nepalganj. (450m)
Day 03     Nepalganj-Simikot (2950m) by flight. Overnight stay.
Day 04     Simikot-Hilsa by charter Helicopter, than to Taklakot (3700m)
Day 05     Drive to Lake Mansarovar (4560m). Holy dip and Puja around Mansarovar Lake.
Day 06     Drive to Sershong & start trek to Dirapuk (4860m)
Day 07     Trek to Zuthul Puk (4760m)
Day 08     End of Trek upto Darchen and drive to Taklakot. Overnight at Hilsa.
Day 09     Hilsa-Simikot by Helicopter than to Nepalganj and Kathmandu.
Day 10     Depart Kathmandu.

All the Kailash Yatri or Groups required to follow the itinerary strictly. The entire Group must enter & exit Tibet together as per the planned schedule.

Packing List (Yatries must carry with them)

  • A small day pack. (Back pack for personal items)
  • Enough clothing for the whole Yatra. Do not over load your bag.
  • Any regular medicines that you take
  • Toiletries' kit (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, towels etc).
  • Water bottle / Thermos/ Flask for hot water (2 liters).
  • Sports shoes & Trekking boots (light weight & comfortable for walking)
  • Woolen socks (around 4 pairs).
  • Wool/thermal long underwear (comfortable dress for Parikrama).
Note : Ladies should carry a pair of Kurta Surwal / Pants for the Parikrama
  • Monkey cap
  • Underpants (3 or 4).
  • Gloves. Dust mask
  • Sunglasses.
  • Sun lotion cream. Lip guard
  • Nuts, Biscuits, Dry fruits, Powder juice.
  • Rain wear (Umbrella or Raincoat)

  • Glucose & Electral packets which is good for instant energy.
  • Dry fruits, juice powder, candy, canned or packed food, nuts and biscuits etc.

Health Guidance:

All Pilgrims (Yatri) are advised to prepare for this Holy Kailash - Mansarovar yatra well before six months of Yatra date. As a preparation yatri should walk minimum 3 - 5 km daily. Besides walking jogging, running, swimming and joining a health club OR Yoga (under a perfect Yoga Teacher) will be additional activities which helps a lot to perform Holy Kailash Yatra (parikrama) successfully.

Fitness Certificate:

A fitness certificate, issued by a doctor (MBBS) is mandatory at the time of booking OR one month before the Yatra Date. Along with fitness certificate, please also submit:
  • TMT test report.
  • Blood Haemogram
  • ECG Report.

Booking Requirements:

  • Scanned copy of passport (first page & last page with address) by e-mail.
  • Doctor Certificate with TMT, Blood Hemogram & ECG. (may be submitted 30 days before travel date)
  • 10% of total cost as advance with the passport copy. (non refundable)

Mode of Payment:

Cancellation:

  • Booking amount is non refundable.
  • 30 days before travel date, 25% of the yatra cost.
  • 10 days before travel date, 50% of the yatra cost.
  • Less than 10 days, no refund allowed.

Detailed Yatra Itinerary

Holy Kailash � Mansarovar Heli Yatra

Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu (1300 mtr)

Assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel Vaishali/Shankar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Kathmandu � Nepalganj (450m)

Morning half day sightseeing tour of Pashupati Nath and Boudhanath. Afternoon fly Kathmandu/ Nepalganj. Assistance at Nepalganj airport and transfer to hotel. overnight at Hotel Country Kitchen or similar.

Day 03 Nepalganj-Simikot (2950m)

Morning fly Nepalganj-Simikot. Free time for acclimatization and overnight at Simikot.

Day 04 Simikot-Hilsa-Taklakot ((3700m)

Today Simikot to Hilsa by Charter Helicopter and cross the bridge to Sher where jeeps awaiting and drive to Taklakot. Overnight at County Peacock/Kailash Hotel.

Day 05 Taklakot-Mansarovar (4560m)

Drive to Holy Mansarovar Lake. Holy dip and Puja around Lake Mansarovar. Hot spring in Chui Gompa where you can take a hot bath. Overnight in Guest House at Chui Gompa.

Day 06 Mansarovar-Dirapuk (4860m)

Drive to Sershong, the starting point of Kailash Parikrama. First day easy trek upto Dirapuk. About 7 km trek can be completed in 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at Hotel Dirapuk.

Day 07 Dirapuk-Dolma La Pass (5200m)-Zuthul Puk (4760m)

Second day of trek is difficult and you need to climb upto DolmaLaPass. After DolmaLa trekking down and easy trek upto Zuthulpuk. Overnight stay at ZuthulPuk.

Day 08 Zuthulpuk-Darchen-Taklakot-Hilsa

End of trek at Darchen and drive to Taklakot. If time allows, we will cross over to Hilsa. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 09 Hilsa-Simikot-Nepalganj-Kathmandu

Fly Hilsa to Simikot by charter Helicopter and than fly Simikot-Nepalganj-Kathmandu by scheduled flight. Assistance at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 10 Depart Kathmnadu

Morning free time. Later transfer to airport for onward flight.
